CAMPBELLSPORT -- School Sister of St. Francis Eunice Becker (Cosma) died Oct. 2, 2009 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. The daughter of Alphonse and Catherine Becker, she was born March 21, 1931 in Faribault, Minn. She was received into the School Sisters of St. Francis June 13, 1949 and made first profession of vows June 21, 1951 and final (perpetual) vows June 21, 1957.

Sister Eunice is survived by her sister, Jean Becker, SSSF; her brothers Ambrose and Silverius of New Prague, MN; nephews and nieces; friends; and the School Sisters of St. Francis.

Sister Eunice lived her religious ministry as a teacher, nurse aide, and communications coordinator in Wisconsin and Illinois. In the Diocese of Madison, Sister Eunice served as a teacher at SS. Anthony and Philip School in Highland (1958-1963).

A wake and a Funeral Mass were held on Oct. 9, 2009, at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. Burial followed at Sisters' Cemetery in Campbellsport.
