WISCONSIN DELLS -- Priests of the Diocese of Madison will be gathering for their annual Presbyteral Assembly from Sunday evening, Sept. 18, to Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

The assembly is an opportunity for prayer and fellowship among the priests of the diocese, as well as education and reflection.

In this Year of Mercy, there will be two keynote presentations by Vinny Flynn, who is known by many as the man who sings the Divine Mercy Chaplet on EWTN.

The father of seven children has been involved in a ministry of mercy for over 40 years, using his gifts of speaking, writing, counseling, and music to help people understand the teachings of the Church and open their hearts to the healing touch of God's love.

A former executive editor at the Marian Helpers Center and former general manager of Divine Mercy International, Flynn has been actively involved in spreading the message of Divine Mercy.

Also giving a presentation on the General Instruction of the Roman Missal will be Abbot Marcel Rooney, OSB. He is the former abbot primate of the Benedictine Order and now directs the Orate Institute of Sacred Liturgy, Music, and Art headquartered in the Diocese of Madison.

Bishop Robert C. Molino will speak to the priests on liturgical and school matters.

The assembly will include concelebrated Masses, a Memorial Service for deceased priests, Holy Hour with Eucharistic Adoration, Benediction, and opportunity for Confession. Priests celebrating their jubilees will be honored.

There will also be dinner with diocesan staff and presentations by St. Augustine Parish, Platteville, and the diocesan Office of Stewardship and Development.
