REEDSBURG -- In an effort to support local growers and to educate the public about sustainably-grown and locally produced foods, the Justice & Peace Commission of three parishes (Sacred Heart in Reedsburg, Holy Family in LaValle, St. Boniface in Lime Ridge) is holding its sixth annual Food Fair & Farmers' Market on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Sacred Heart School gym in Reedsburg.

There will be a large room full of vendors including pastured meats, vegetables, grains, flours, seeds, preserves, cheese, bakery goods, maple syrup, mushrooms, and honey.

The fair will also include information about gardening, farmers' markets, CSAs, growing, and preserving. It will also include short information sessions on propagating orchards and shrubs, GMOs, home canning, winter sowing, and early seeding.
