Watertown parishes ‘Paying It Forward’ Print

WATERTOWN -- Watertown parishes and guests will be challenged with "Paying It Forward" in a mission taking place from March 7 to 10 beginning at 7 p.m.

St. Henry Church, 412 N. 4th St., is hosting the event on March 7 and 8. St. Bernard Church, 412 N. 4th St., is hosting on March 9 and 10.

Guest speaker Fr. Dick Mevissen, CSsR, has been a Redemptorist since 1961 and a priest since 1966. He serves at the Redemptorist Retreat Center south of Oconomowoc.

The evening presentations focus on "Jesus as the Living Mercy of God" (Monday); "God's Mercy, Even in Everyday Dying and Rising" (Tuesday); "God's Unconditional Mercy: Reconciling and Healing," (Wednesday); and "God's Mercy as the Bread of Life" (Thursday).

Admission is free and everyone (high school or older) is welcome. Childcare is provided. Refreshments will be served.
