St Mary Parish Players
to perform play

BLOOMINGTON -- The old advertising line "ring around the collar" will come back to haunt the villain in the 17th dramatic production by St. Mary Parish Players of Bloomington on Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 30, at 12:30 p.m. in the school gym.

"The Villain Wore a Dirty Shirt" is set at the "Tub and Scrub Laundry" in the town of Digalittledeeper, Calif., during the gold mining days. Although a laundry sounds innocent enough, the members of the audience are advised to stay alert as they will be part of the proceedings.

Proceeds from the production will go to help St. Mary School. An "all you can eat" roast beef dinner will be held in the church dining hall on Sunday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Advance tickets are available at a reduced price at Ma's Bakery in Bloomington and from Marian Taylor at 608-994-2484.
